This tour is for the free spirits, the last-minute bookers, and the travelers who trust in the magic of spontaneity. Every day in Iceland is different, and sometimes the best plan… is no plan at all.

With our Guide’s Choice tour, we pick the destination based on two things:

  • Where the weather is best that day
  • One of the guide’s personal favorite hidden gems

That might mean a crystal-clear glacier lagoon, a secret waterfall deep in the highlands, or a geothermal valley with no other travelers in sight. Wherever we go, it’s going to be unforgettable—and totally unique to your day.

This is a private tour in our signature 42-inch Jeep Wrangler, fully flexible and tailored to conditions. You just bring your sense of adventure—we’ll bring the local knowledge and BBQ snacks (if the weather’s right!).

        • This is a spontaneous tour—your guide will choose the best location based on weather, road conditions, and local insights on the day of your tour. No two trips are ever the same!
        • We’ll confirm the general direction (South Coast, Highlands, West Iceland, etc.) the evening before your tour.
        • Bring layered clothing, a waterproof jacket, good hiking shoes, and a sense of adventure. Icelandic weather can change fast.
        • If conditions allow, we may do a BBQ or picnic stop outdoors—let us know about any dietary restrictions in advance.
        • The tour is private and flexible, but due to weather and terrain, some locations may be inaccessible depending on the season.
        • You don’t need to plan anything—just show up ready to explore. We take care of the rest.
